Everything about our stay was beautiful and relaxing. The boathouses being set over the lily pond creates a very unique and whimsical experience, as you feed the koi, turtles and eels directly from your secluded deck. An added bonus was boat house 1 being pet friendly, our dog loved getting to come away with us. We will definitely stay again.
We had the most beautiful and peaceful stay at the 2-bedroom Boathouse Villa at Leaves & Fishes. Props to Kristy for agreeing to our request in booking a 1-night stay instead of the min 2-night requirement. Honestly, if our schedule permits, we would love to stay longer as we can’t get enough of this place. It honestly felt like stepping into another world. Our new fave spot in the Hunter to stay! It felt like we were in a tropical retreat. So relaxing, was able to have early check in for a wedding, champagne on arrival at my husband’s request… 20/10 recommend!!!
This was our first time staying at Leaves and Fishes in the Hunter Valley and we can not speak more highly of it. The team were lovely to deal with and extremely flexible. The boathouse itself was absolutely beautiful and felt luxurious and relaxing. The location of Leaves and Fishes is perfect as it is central to various places in the Hunter Valley! We highly recommend and will be back.
