Leak and Sons handled the funeral services for my mother and they did an amazing job preparing her body for the viewing. She looked more like herself than she did just prior to her passing. When my father requested last minute that they change the room we were in to a larger room they promptly accommodated the request. I give Leaks and Sons the highest ratings. They assisted me with the burial of my dear husband, my king at one of most difficult times of my life with care, attention, patience and very organized. The history of Leaks and Sons is based on the grandfather making sure Black folks are provided with the best treatment during a time when racism was high and really nothing has changed so I hope people realize it’s a blessing to have their services.

Mr. Leaks Jr. was contacted regarding the funeral arrangements for my grandmother, whose services were held 02/11/25. Regrettably, the funeral home he represents refused to provide any information about the proceedings, despite my family’s relentless efforts to gather details. After making two visits and countless phone calls and messages to the staff, I was informed that only Kevin Latney, her grandson, was authorized to obtain information concerning the funeral. I will be filling a report with the Federal Trade Commission for them charging my family a fee to pick up my loved one without a release form, without me authorizing a release or disclosing the price. They basically used him as collateral to get the fee paid. These people are crooks and I would advise you not to call them to inquire about services at all. I will not let this go and will take this to court if necessary. Despicable human beings for taken advantage of us during the most difficult time in our life.
