My excisional biopsy left me with a very noticeable dent that affected my appearance and confidence. I was told it would be barely noticeable. When I shared my disappointment, Dr. Gendler dismissed my concern and went on to lecture me about her advanced stage young cancer patients (ie, how dare I complain). I expected honest expectations and respectful communication, and I did not receive either.

Hello, I am reaching out to office management. I have been trying to schedule a new patient visit. I called and left messages. I received one call back, but when I tried to follow up returning a call to give additional information prior to scheduling the appointment, I could not get a live person online. Today, I was put on hold for forty minutes by the automated system and still have not been able to speak to scheduling since I first called about three weeks ago. Unacceptable!

I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. Gendler! I was diagnosed w/breast cancer in October 2024 and was referred to a surgeon; I chose Dr. Gendler and I'm so glad I did. She sat with me and my family and welcomed all questions, explained everything to us, was totally understanding that we just lost my stepdad to cancer a couple months prior, so she allowed my whole group to sit in on the discussion. I had surgery with Dr. Gendler and she is incredible!! She takes the time to explain everything and I never felt rushed. She even squeezed me in for a post op concern during her lunch. I absolutely love her and everyone involved in my surgery. Highly recommend!!
