I don’t even know where to start—this is definitely not a good spot for kayaking. First off, the ramp is steep and drops straight into deep water, making it hard to launch. Then you’ve got 13–14 trucks lined up with jet skis, kayaks, and boats, most of them driven by people who clearly don’t know how to back up a trailer. The area was full of alligators—I counted seven just hanging around near the ramp. On top of that, a bald white guy on a pontoon (apparently a regular) tried to run me over and swamp my kayak for no reason.... read more
Nice area
I like this boat ramp. I can launch my 27' cobia here as long as I use the ramp furthest east. Absolutely DON'T use the middle ramp if you have anything with any size at all. However, once again I had an impatient RETARD that didn't want to wait for me to get back from parking my truck. He went and asked my wife to move the boat. There isn't any room at this ramp to tie up your boat out of the way for someone else to use the ramp. DON'T BE A RETARD AT THE BOAT RAMP!!
