On a 560 sq ft house they quoted me $4800 for new gutters by a woman named Holly. When I told her that was insane, I then was offered a 15% discount to about $4100, then when I still said no, 35% discount to $3100, then finally $1700 when they said they had leftover material from another job. I still said no because I didn’t trust her and she proceeded to start talking bad about other companies and said if I was okay with a poor product and no support I should go with the other guys. The product is good. Installers were very good. However the sales tactics of LeafFilter is really bad. The sales person I had was very knowledgeable in the sales tactics she was taught. That is to quote a customer a very very high dollar amount in hopes they will bite. And then if the customer says no she comes up with multiple ways/excuses to lower the price all the while trying to get the customer to pay as much as possible at the end. I just had a salesperson out to the house and have never felt more insulted in my life. Here's the full story: I submitted an online form purely out of curiosity and was immediately bombarded with multiple calls a day - anywhere from 3 to 5 - all during the workday. That was annoying, but whatever. I get it. It's the off-season. I finally got a salesperson - Robby - out to the house, and he was a nice guy. They have poor communication and customer service. The product works, but I still have not had all the items fixed since the initial installation. After the initial installation, I had to call to find out when they would return. I did need to move the next appointment due to something coming up, but I rescheduled multiple days in advance.
