Today I went in for a consultation and they asked me a whole bunch of questions. I left feeling defeated and saddened that the options they gave me was not what I wanted to do. Basically felt like they wouldn’t help me.
First initial appt was weight, height etc..met with Dr.Shiau. Was put on an oral med Contrave. Did not work. Dietition (virtual) found it hard to follow as they wanted me to increase caloric intake on an already dietary deficit regimen...I left the program asking for a refund as I needed to research if another option was right for me. Then returned 6 months later to try another med, Saxenda.(worked) They quickly dismissed me back to my physician as they were not making money on me anymore.Re: dietition, shakes, products etc.... read more
The worse place ever. Dr's their they don't want to work .. they want people to live and survive with problems instead of helping and finding solutions . Please don't dare to ask for help.. they aren't capable of that.
My first impression of this clinic was fantastic. It was easy to find, and there was really great communication/reminders for my upcoming appointment. Initially, it did take a while to get a consultation appointment but I do understand, and it wasn't an issue. Upon arrival, reception was friendly and quick. I was taken into the back area to have my height and weight taken immediately. The whole team was encouraging and helpful. The 2 lady's on the reception were welcoming and friendly. TheDocs that I met with were professional and talked about options with me Both Doc wrere informative and supportive. This was a excellent experience looking forward to my ne t appointment thank you all again Debra
