Have been in medically directed and supervised treatment at this clinic since March 2024. Lost 30 lbs in first 3 months on OptiFast shakes (which was ‘easy’ re no food choices to make!) and have lost another 15 so far since then which is over one year later. Feeling great and am now less than 10 lbs from my goal weight! Have had Contrave and Wegovy prescribed and am continuing on these now as recommended by Dr Shiau. I've been a patient with LEAF for years and have done several programs with them. The doctors and dietitian I have seen have been excellent in helping me stay motivated, even when I have had some setbacks. Their programs only work if you make your health a core commitment and remain accountable for your actions. Having virtual appointments and meetings also helps me fit staying focused into a busy schedule.
I have been followed by LEAF since 2022. The medical staff and dieticians are amazing. I went through their first program (the name escapes me now) with OPTIFAST 900. The shakes were terrible, but I lost 40 lbs. The shakes caused me stomach issues and I developed gallstones. I had my gallbladder removed a result. After my gallbladder was removed, I could not tolerate the shakes at all. I ended up gaining 20 lbs after I went off the shakes. This clinic from day one has been very helpful and attentive to my needs. I was very impressed with their service and glad o found them. I was 195 pounds I am down to 174. They thaught me how to eat healthier so I can live and feel healthier. All the staff were extremely helpful and it was not only about loose weight. Everything about health life style. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking to move towards better eating lifestyle and feel healthier . Thanks to all the staff especially the nutrientist.
I don't like to leave negative reviews but since I rec'd an email from Leaf asking me to leave a google review, I decided to leave one. Firstly the dietician, Danielle, was awesome, this review in no way reflects on her. Danielle was excellent and very helpful. My issue is that after 6 months and the end of the program I had lost 40 lbs on my own, with no medication even though I was asked multiple times by the different Dr's that popped in for a couple of minutes.
