We've been living here for 8 months so far and really love it. The property manager is very friendly and helpful, the neighbors are all very nice -- in fact I've lived in apartment buildings for many years in my life since I was a kid and this place has the most welcoming atmosphere that I've lived in so far. For the past 4 months or so we have had an on site building manager that does absolutely nothing to take care of this apartment complex. Several residents have complained to no avail, so the next step will be contacting the city. Every unit (54 of them) pays a monthly shared area maintenance fee of $20, so $1080 for what exactly? No one cleans or maintains this place, where is that $1080 going?

My experience in the Winnetka Leadwell st area apartments has not been a good one. I've been a tenant for 2 years and at first it was tranquil but as a norm of living with a lot of people, issues and complaints will arise. The on site management lack responsibility when issues and complaints are communicated. I do not feel like the apartment is advertised correctly "luxury apartments" when the service and cosmetic look in the building do not follow suit. Isabella is very sweet and helpful but the management company is disgusting and discriminatory. They denied me even the possibility of running my application because I am disabled and have 2 service dogs for which I have all the proper documentation. This is extremely illegal and just plain horrible. I can't even imagine how they treat their current tenants, seems like I dodged a bullet!
