Get directionsI can't recommend Leah from Leading the Latch highly enough. I had an incredibly rough start with breastfeeding, there were moments I genuinely thought it wasn't going to happen for us. I was exhausted, discouraged, and ready to give up. But Leah changed everything. She was patient, knowledgeable, and endlessly encouraging, even on the days when I felt like nothing was working. She didn't just help me fix technique, she helped me believe I could actually do this. Slowly, things started clicking, and what once felt impossible... read more
Leah is not only a great lactation consultant but a wonderful support through those early months! Highly recommend! Leah helped me and my son go from relying on the breast friend pillow and nipple shields to being able to nurse anywhere in almost any position with no shields or pillow in 3 weeks. She also helped relieve his reflux symptoms. My son gained over 2.5 pounds in 4 weeks after a slow start and I have Leah to thank! Leah comes to your house and is extremely flexible in her schedule to ensure you are and feel support... read more
I can’t give enough positive feedback about working with Leah. She has been so supportive on my breastfeeding journey and has made herself available to me anytime I’ve had questions. I always thought you just met with lactation after the baby came, but I truly believe the guidance she gave to me prenatally has made my breastfeeding so successful. Since baby was born she has done 2 home visits and helped me transition into pumping and giving baby bottles. She also helped me recognize a tongue tie and referred me to an outstan... read more
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Leah at Leading the Latch! She is truly the absolute best and was such a huge source of support during one of the most difficult times in my postpartum journey. I left the hospital with a 4-pound baby and was struggling with postpartum anxiety, pumping, bottle feeding, and breastfeeding. I felt overwhelmed and unsure of myself, but she met me with so much patience, compassion, knowledge, and encouragement. She never made me feel judged or like I was doing anything wrong. She helped ... read more
Leah is an angel who absolutely saved my breastfeeding journey from start to finish. She saved my sanity when my newborn had jaundice and almost had to be readmitted to the hospital at 3 days old, and continued to be a lifeline to me all the way through until I weaned at 14 months. Her professionalism and scientific approach were only matched by her warmth and kindness. I miss her!
