As a new sailor, I was advised to replace the existing jib on our Cal 2-27 due to wear. Before doing so, I called Leading Edge, who originally made the sail. Joe quickly determined that only the sun cover needed refreshing and that the sail still had many years of life—saving us thousands. He also advised which reserve sail to convert to luff tape for winter use and completed the work quickly and affordably. Joe is by far the very best guy you can work with. He's done it for over 30 years and his work is beautiful. Go with Joe. You will be pleased. He has made our main sail, a custom mizzen sail (our design,) an Asim spinnaker, AND has fixed our sail DE boggle (personal boo boo,) that had torn. Go with Joe.
