I came to see Jon as soon as the surgeon gave me clearance to start physio after a major orthopaedic injury. I am now the proud owner of a plate and 7 screws in my tibia. With a lot of work Jon, Jeff, Gaylon, (and myself, doing the homework) I have had an incredible recovery. I am miles ahead of what my surgeon expected. I have gone from non-weight bearing and an immobile leg, to being able to do stairs and full range of motion in my knee again. Leading Edge is very much an assembly line type of clinic. I've noticed the staff there rely on modalities and equipment instead of doing a thorough assessment to give you a permanent fix. It took me a couple months to figure out my injury and dysfunction pattern but when I did I was disappointed to realize the staff (I tried 3 different physios) at Leading edge were all treating symptoms rather than trying to understand the cause.
