Mountain retreat - aka heaven. I am so happy with finding a wonderful spot to purchase. And share many thanks to Matt Powell, mortgage broker extraordinaire. He and his team at Luminate Home Loans are knowledgeable, and very available and responsive to client needs during the process of taking care of the many details of a home purchase. Matt and his team are very detailed oriented. When we had questions he had indepth answers. He worked around the clock and communicated everything clearly to the selling agent; as well as, Mara and I. Being an independent contractor, there were things I needed to do to get the best intrest rate avaible. Matt ensured we were spending our money in our best interest. Now with Matt and his team we are locked in at a super low interest rate!
I have used Matt for my first buying loan, and now the subsequent 2 refi's. He is very good at working the numbers in a way to be able to provide what we want. The people working for Matt, however, are another story. We felt like we were at the bottom of their list of clients, with many "Urgent" requests for additional information coming after normal business hours, like 4 and 5 PM.
