Edit: going off of Dryeska yes the cigarette smoke is horrendous there!! Honestly I can say I’m so glad moving from this dump that increased in price but the quality significantly decreased/ NOT RENOVATED over time. The fact that they “renovated the unit” which I highly doubt, and charging almost $400 less to the new renters is sickening after my partner has been there for years. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before signing a lease here! Since January, my family’s apartment has been filled with cigarette smoke coming from the neighboring unit. this isn’t a faint smell, it completely takes over the apartment. None of us smoke, yet our clothes, furniture, and even we ourselves constantly smell like cigarettes. I’ve been here for 3 and a half years and I would say this apartment has been awesome. Heather, Brooke, Lina, Brenda, and the maintenance guys are amazing. As someone who comes to the leasing office often, they treat all of the residents with kindness and respect. I see a lady left a review on racism. I am not sure what happened, but as a black man I have never experienced any type of racism from anyone in the office. I find that hard to believe.
If you’re of COLOR DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I came here for a tour today and while I was in the leasing office, my car was vandalized with a black sharpie!!! No one else car was touched! Then they claim their cameras don’t work at the leasing office which is useless!! A current resident saw the distress in my demeanor and came over to tell me that this is NOT something new that happens in this neighborhood and disclosed that it has happened to him as well.
