I had fond memories of this place when I lived in Chicago years ago, but this time I was not impressed. It’s not just about the food but the whole experience. We had the ceviche appetizer which had chili oil on it - odd pairing considering ceviche goes for the refreshing taste but chili oil is not and they don’t really go well. What made it worse was that the chili oil had a stale taste to it. Came to Lena Brava on a whim and wasnt disappointed. The oysters were good and so was my mocktail.
