Was looking to replace a crankshaft that I had threaded. Called around looking for pricing at local shops I stumbled on this shop and the guys at le split had a second hand one for a great price. Additionally, everyone was lovely in the shop and were happy to lend me some grease for the installation. Thanks guys!
Carl and Steve are amazing guys who know a lot about their bikes. They spend less time about whether or not someone is there to buy something, and more about how to help the customer. Truly enjoyed my bicycle shopping experience. Will definitely recommend the store to anyone who wants to buy a bike or accessories. Good people, good store.

Firstly I hate giving average reviews but... I took my BMC 2013 SLR01 which is now a commuter bike, having recently upgraded to a mention no name other bike (Giant, albeit top of the range and stiff as anything) and they did a great job apart from braking one of the brakes (SRAM Red) during the new cable install which happened whilst trying to release the nut (obviously ceased and nothing the mechanic could do which is completely acknowledged and understandable. These people know bikes - experienced and competent mechanics (I know, I do my own servicing so I can judge) and they are willing, helpful and cheerful. Snaps to Steve, who put careful hours into selling me the right bike, and not selling one to my husband because it was not right. Lose a sale, gain a customer.
