Celebrated an anniversary here (over lunch). The setting is absolutely amazing with views of tower bridge and the Thames. The food is also very good, all consistent with a french cuisine restaurant on the Michelin guide. Would recommend for lunch (less busy) and dinner.
We were lucky enough to have our 40th anniversary dinner at Le Pont de la Tour. They certainly went out of their way to make it a special night for us. The setting was perfect, dining Al fresco under the Tower Bridge, the food was outstanding, especially the Dover Sole, and roasted halibut. The service was incredible, very attentive, yet not overbearing. If you would like to have a great view of Tower Bridge while dining in, this is the place you're looking for! Food was mediocre. Servers were pleasant. Will still recommend this restaurant for the view!
I was robbed within 30 seconds while sitting outside. What is absolutely incredible is that apparently nobody saw anything, despite there being people around. Extremely disappointing experience and definitely not somewhere I would feel comfortable recommending.
