Le Monde Creole is a living history of the Locoul family through five generations. Shrouded by trees and plants, walk around the long courtyards, the patios and witness the journey of the family home through the turbulent times of American history. Pre-arranged tours are available in English and French, just call in advance. You will be taken through the French Quarter, eerie cemeteries and narrow passageways. Smoking is not allowed. Tours generally last for about two hours. Open daily 10.30a onwards.

Nous avons fait le Garden District avec Muriel et le Quartier français avec Karim wow ! 🤩 Nous avons adoré les tours en français, nous avons pu visiter de magnifiques endroits inaccessibles au public. Des guides généreux et très intéressants. Merci !

Visite tout simplement magique avec Elise. Nous avons parcouru le quartier français et le quartier de Treme. La culture est si riche en musique et en couleur. À faire 1000 fois
I did the Treme tour and it was very average. I don’t see why the reviews in guide books are so popular, maybe because they do it in French. To get the most out of the tour you need to ask questions and the visit to the video priestess at the end is pretty pointless as she doesn’t answer your questions. If you can’t be bothered to do the research yourself I guess then it’s fine (if you can afford 40$ per person). If I had to do it again I would do a self guided tour + use my phone /ai image search to get more information on ... read more
