The manner in which I was spoken to during my phone call was condescending, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Hospital staff should understand that they may not know what a family is experiencing or the circumstances that may cause a parent to miss an appointment. Speaking to a concerned mother as though she is unintelligent is neither compassionate nor appropriate. Families of children with special needs deserve patience, dignity, and respectful communication at all times.
Got in and out fairly quick, staff was really good.
