It was a delightful cruise on the Rideau Canal. The LeBoat people were great even if there was a hitch in our plans. The boat so user friendly that is no problem for a first time navigation of the Canal. It’s a great adventure for a group of friends also for families. We are certainly thinking about another LeBoat adventure!!!!
Fabulous experience! Staff friendly, professional, and helpful, boats amazing with bow and stern thrusters, and the locks and scenery spectacular. Already planning on another trip!
Le Boat RENTS boats, like Hertz or Avis rents cars. That's it. The quality of YOUR trip is completely up to where YOU go, what YOU do and what YOU see. They try to leverage the trip quality for their boat rentals, in the reviews. the woman at the desk eagerly encouraged us to leave a review and give them a 9 or 10. The holiday was enjoyable for us, despite the boat. We bought early check-in, but got there around 10am, and the woman agreed to start the check-in early, which was nice. My second trip with Le Boat and it was fantastic! First the staff out of Smiths Falls is excellent in every way - detailed check out, boat training, kind extra touches. The boats are in great shape even at the end of the season. And the Rideau is just gorgeous. A bit of everything - locks, navigation through channels, open water. Cute towns for docking but also remote parks. And beautiful early fall weather. We loved it all.
Delightful, relaxing journey from Smiths Falls to Westport and back in early October. We were a crew of 4 on a Horizon 5 and had very generous accommodations. Boat was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and lots of birds- we were especially pleased to hear the loons. Can’t wait to do it again!
