We recently embarked on an incredible journey along the Rideau Canal System with Le Boat, accompanied by three other couples. The experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the exceptional crew and company. We booked a Horizon 2 for the four of us, which cost just under $7000 for supposedly 8 days. But check in is 3 pm and takes 1.5 hours (so Day 1 is gone) and you have to be back at Smith's Falls by 9 am on the last day (so there's no Day 8). This seems wrong and feels like a rip-off! We could have gone to Europe for a nice vacation for the same price. The boat was fine, well-equipped. The Rideau Canal system is beautiful. But don't think you are getting any value for the first and last days of your rental.
