I recently visited Le Banh Patisserie for the second time, and once again found myself overwhelmed by the quality of the baked goods within. I find that most bakeries drown their flavors in sugar, glazes, and frosting, while the pastries offered at Le Banh Patisserie deliver the perfect balance of taste and texture without being cloyingly sweet. MIND-BLOWINGLY OUTSTANDING!! I am posting this review as I am sitting in this lovely shop (filled with sweet scents and gorgeous pastries and wonderful energy). My first time here, I don’t live super close (about half hour away), but occasionally come up for doctor’s appointments, and now I have a reason to come up just to get a gorgeous treat made with love when I need one. I was in Simsbury the other day and stopped by Le Bahn Patisserie, which turned out to be one of the best choices I could have possibly made. It is a small bakery with a limited selection (I did, however, go late in the afternoon), but the pastries were perhaps the best I have ever had - no exaggeration. The proprietor was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but most importantly she can bake!
