Waited over 5 hours in the emergency room and staff were rude when I asked about the delay
My friend got sick after drinking a little too much, and was worried about the pvc's she was having, so she was taken to Tulane. We've been here for 6 HOURS despite telling staff multiple times that she's ready to leave. There were hardly any people there, so it wasn't a crowded issue. And when she hit the button to request the first time, nobody even responded except the very nice woman from registration, who went and grabbed a nurse. Last month, I brought my wife in who taken an awful fall while we were walking to breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with utmost care and professionalism. We are extremely grateful for everything they did for her. They took great care of her broken wrist, broken rib, and lacerations. Thank you again to everyone in the LCMC ER. It’s been such a scary and difficult afternoon for me as a single mom, and I just want to sincerely thank everyone who became my support system while also helping me heal. My elderly mother went to the ER for a head laceration she obtained our last night of a family vacation due to a trip on n uneven side walk. She arrived via ambulance approximately 6:35 pm. She wasn’t stitched up until approximately 11:30 pm. She went through many test such as a CT scan for her head, a seperate scan for neck , and a chest scan.
