Over the last couple of months at Natick South LCB, one has seen many staff members leave . There may be one or two servers working in a full dining room, Residents aren’t able to get orders in or get the food in a timely manner, the food quality has gone down, Often out of many food items . We moved my mother into one of the LCB facilities and were made lots of promises. They did not deliver on any of them. 1. The food is abysmal. My mother says she wouldn’t feed the provided meals to a pet. The food it is tough, processed, and usually frozen. Having eaten the food on occasion, I can vouch that coach airline food would be a step up. 2. They changed to a commercial portal that does not accept payments from brokerage houses where most elderly have their trust money. The only options are to pay by bank card where ... read more

It has been one year since my mother passed away shortly after being removed from the Residence at Brookside in Avon. After proof of abuse, due to cuts, bruises, skin tears, unattended falls, medication errors and general mistreatment requiring hospitalizations, I reported the treatment to LCB Corporate, who in turn told me that my mother (who was on Hospice) had to leave the facility. Jury is still out. My Mom has been in Suffield by the River in Suffield CT for over a year now. It has been very challenging. She moved in during Covid. Numerous staff challenges has hampered the quality of care that she should be given. There has been improvements over that last 3 months with consistency of Aides helping out the process.
