What a gem in Long Beach! The French onion stuffed chicken was hands down the best chicken dish I’ve ever had. Absolutely incredible. We also had the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which had the biggest shrimp we’ve ever seen, and the Coq au Vin, which was so tender it literally fell off the bone. We went for Father's day dinner with a party of 5. Our server was Danielle. She had a great prescence and demeanor. Her knowledge of the menu was fluent - and she handled my father's silly jokes and remarks with grace and quick wit haha. It was our first time dining there, so I asked about the popular items on the menu. Danielle recommended the Duck two-ways and the Beef bourguignon, so my wife and I order those two dishes and shared them. They were phenomenal. We will *absolutely* be returning soon.
Nous nous réjouissions d’aller manger français aux USA. Le problème c’est que nous avons l’habitude de manger des plats français et que dans ce restaurant la carte est française mais le goût des plats est différent qu’en Europe. Il s’est passé 50 minutes entre notre arrivée et notre départ. Les plats arrivent alors que les entrées ne sont pas débarrassées ! C’est vraiment dommage pour un restaurant qui se veut un peu chic ! Le service n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur.
If I could give zero stars, I would - First time e I ever walked out before we even ordered I was genuinely excited to try LB Bistro Oyster & Cocktail Bar based on the menu, but unfortunately the service was among the worst I've experienced at any restaurant.
