What can I say, last minute booking... broken light fixtures, stained carpet, curtains hanging on for dear life & the flies! Flies & bugs every where, in curtain underlay, in shower cubicle. I needed to get bug spray from Aldi. Luckily no bed bugs (I hope)...And don't get me started on the black grout in the shower cubilce...If you really, really need to stop it is OK...good things: large room, clean towels, clean sheets, microwave, kettle, fridge & toaster.
At this price point, great place to stay. Owner manager at their other Swan Hill Motel, which was full, made contact & we sorted out the late booking @ 11:30 pm, so I wasn't stranded, after a late enforced by circumstances on my part, change of travel plans. Late check-out a bonus. Nice people run this and the Pioneer, 😀👍
I used to work at this hotel, but I was never paid. They treated the workers like slaves — no proper breaks, working over 12 hours a day. The owner’s language was rude and aggressive, and the promised wages were never paid. It’s even worse considering I’m an immigrant. This hotel is absolutely terrible.
