If you are looking for the perfect way to see the glaciers of Alaska, look no further than Lazy Otter Charters! Our 3.5 hour boat tour was absolutely incredible. Getting up close to two different glaciers and even making a stop on a secluded beach was a dream come true. The owner, Michele, was our captain and she was phenomenal. Amazing! We were lucky enough to experience this charter. The captains were amazing. They shared so much information about Prince William Sound, Whittier, and the history of the area. They took us on a 3 hour adventure filled with fabulous views. We saw the most amazing glaciers and wildlife! I would recommend anyone in Alaska sign up for this tour. Pack a camera and be prepared for your cheeks to hurt from all your smiles.
Frequently work with my company, but for it not being a guided tour, got in some fantastic sights. Saw sea otters, porpoises, an eagle, and some of the most spectacular mountains and glaciers (partially covered in snow) I’ve ever seen. Knowledgeable staff, with cool stories to tell, just be prepared for the wind and unpredictable weather of Whittier for travel accommodations. Even checking a week or a few days in advance is no guarantee but the captains will get you there safely and Sound-ly weather provided.
