We have stayed at Bear Hollow on three occasions. The cabin is always clean and well maintained. We were especially grateful for the cleared driveway after 10 inches of snow. The hot tub was inviting after long treks to see amazing ice formations. The stars and moonlight were breathtaking. Bear Hollow is our private getaway place at Hocking Hills.

I will start by saying that we stayed in Rustic Way and wanted to make sure others were aware of what they would be getting when renting this place. I have emailed Lazy Lane, but there has been no acknowledgement of that email in almost 48 hours. The level of cleanliness in the cabin was not great. We had to wash most dishes before we were able to use them because they appeared to be half cleaned. Thank goodness we have stayed in many rentals and brought our own chlorox wipes because we needed them. We wiped down all of the ... read more

Rude housekeepers and customer service! They accused us of pets and charged $127 when it should have been $60 EVEN if we did bring pets (which we did not). No proof or photos just the "housekeeper's word." Even after they finally refunded when saying we will take further action (and still they had no proof to provide), they didn't apologize for the false accusations. My family had a terrible experience with Lazy Lane Cabins over Labor Day weekend, and I feel obligated to share so others don’t go through the same thing. We booked the Oak Hollow cabin and drove several hours with our children, only to find that the steep gravel driveway was impassable for our vehicle. After multiple attempts, we began sliding backwards down the hill — it was unsafe and terrifying to my kids in the car. Our family’s experience with Lazy Lane Cabins was extremely disappointing. We were so excited for a relaxing weekend away, but when we arrived, the steep gravel driveway to our cabin was impossible to drive up. Our vehicle lost traction and began sliding backward, which was frightening and unsafe — especially with kids in the car.
