Cozy, comfortable, fully stocked with all the essentials, hot tub was great, super quiet, would definitely stay again
We have stayed at Bear Hollow on three occasions. The cabin is always clean and well maintained. We were especially grateful for the cleared driveway after 10 inches of snow. The hot tub was inviting after long treks to see amazing ice formations. The stars and moonlight were breathtaking. Bear Hollow is our private getaway place at Hocking Hills.
I will start by saying that we stayed in Rustic Way and wanted to make sure others were aware of what they would be getting when renting this place. I have emailed Lazy Lane, but there has been no acknowledgement of that email in almost 48 hours. The level of cleanliness in the cabin was not great. We had to wash most dishes before we were able to use them because they appeared to be half cleaned. Rude housekeepers and customer service! They accused us of pets and charged $127 when it should have been $60 EVEN if we did bring pets (which we did not). No proof or photos just the "housekeeper's word." Even after they finally refunded when saying we will take further action (and still they had no proof to provide), they didn't apologize for the false accusations.
