perfect getaway from everything yet close enough to all the beaches and great food to also have endless things to do. lazy l is the perfect location to have the best of both worlds and if you have a dog, it's absolute heaven for them with their never ending dog friendly amenities and even a huge dog park right outside that has a pavilion with both a light and ceiling to relax while your dogs run around at night! honestly I can't think of one bad thing to say and on top of all of that the homemade breakfast is amazing with so... read more

We’ve made this an annual get away for the past 15 years. The quiet surroundings help put one’s mind at ease. The refreshing pool is the perfect way to round out a day at the dog friendly beaches of Cape Henlopen State Park. This place isn’t just dog friendly, it’s dog catering. A large dog run on site helps the pups burn off energy before a sound sleep in a spacious, clean and cool room. The view of the marsh is a most excellent way to begin and end the day. My mom and I went there for my mother’s birthday. We took her dog Roscoe. We had a wonderful stay. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived by a lovely woman named Rose, who is an EXCELLENT cook 👩🍳 The room was very beautiful and we felt right at home, even Roscoe!! The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool area and the hot tub. The hospitality is above and beyond, can’t stress that enough. We had a fantastic time at the Lazy L! The room was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view. They are extremely dog friendly and made my whole family feel welcomed! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and they had some great vegan options for some of the vegan guests staying there. Dogs are allowed in all parts of the building and grounds.
