A fun stop! We had burgers and drinks. We would have stayed longer but were tired from travelling. We were there on trivia night which obviously draws a crowd. Overall - we would return!
My wife and I wished we had discovered this place earlier in our vacation. If you like IPA beer, all of them are great that we tried. We also got the nachos with beef topping and they were delicious. Great service. Great atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Fun times & tasty beers at Lazy Hiker in Sylva! I appreciate the variety of styles, with a menu of mainstays and rotating taps. Family-friendly, indoor & outdoor seating (great patio!), and live music or other events most nights. Bartenders Cade and Seth both do a great job making recommendations and keeping things moving! Stop here on your next visit to downtown Sylva.
The Lazy Hiker in Sylva is by far the best bar in WNC. Our bartender Cade was the kindest and most attentive person, letting us sample a few beers before buying and giving us a good laugh in between. The atmosphere was great, and they’re an awesome music venue! I would highly recommend coming here for a nice evening
