The Backwater 16 is the best 16 center console on the market! I love my boat!
Purchased a 16' Backwater from Layton, April, Doug & Tiffany were all great to work with, top notch communications. Great people. Doug literally went out of his way to assist with the pickup of the boat! You are the man! The 16' Backwater is an excellent boat, Rigged perfectly for us. You guys are great, keep it up and talk to you in 2023 when I put an order in for her Big Sister! Thank you again!
Had such a great experience buying a new custom built Backwater 16 from the Laytons. They are extremely knowledgeable and were so great to work with. The communication throughout the whole process was tremendous. This is the best 16' boat on the market by far!
While fishing last December, we hit something that took a large chunk out of the bottom of my new Carolina Skiff. Took the boat by Layton’s. I was quoted a very reasonable price for the repair. What I thought was pretty bad, they didn’t seemed phased and assured me that it would be fixed correctly. When I got the boat back after the repair, I had to look at the old pics to see exactly where the damage had been because the repair was great and the color match was spot on.Thanks again and I have recommended Layton’s to friends... read more
