When I initially called I asked if they serviced my area which was about 40 minutes away from them and they said YES - so I booked the appointment - They said 175 for 1st hour and 125 hr after that. The two young men at my residence were finished the job in 30 min. The part was $16.00 - The bill I received was $286 dollars - They labelled it labor but the woman on the phone said the cost was for travel. Excellent company to have in my house. When I phoned the company they asked me to take a photo of the area of the water tank and they gave me a estimate. They came out and did the job quickly and effiently and they stuck by there quote. I would recommend Layton Knight-Locke as a company I would have back
We just moved here and day two, on a holiday weekend had a leak develop from our main water valve in our house. We called and they were here within the hour. Called as needed a gas stove converted to propane. Mitchell came out and converted stove and also changed old propane lines to new ones. Could not have been happier with Mitchell and his work. Polite, efficient and you would not have known he was there when he was done. Everything cleaned up. Girls in the office are also very polite and helpful.
My furnace went down and I contacted Layton-Knight. The technician came out and diagnosed the issue. I received the quote several hours later at $1395.55. I then received a call from the company and was told the part I needed (over $850), could only be supplied by a US supplier and that it would take 4-6 weeks.
