Get directionsI would recommend everyone go to a different hospital. There are other clinics and emergency rooms in the surrounding areas that people can go to. If I could leave a zero star rating I would. This is why I am giving them a one star rating: I had severe abdominal pain, and I went to the emergency room there and was given a CT scan and they determined that it was a kidney stone. 6.5 x 5.5. Quite a large kidney stone. I was told by the doctor that I should pass it in a couple days, but that if I didn't that I should just come b... read more
I appreciated immediate help in the Layton Hospital ER due to chest pains. The team was very kind, attentive, efficient and responsive. Ideas to improve would be: (1) PROVIDING PILLOWS - They didn’t have pillows when I requested one. One of the nurses stated the other hospitals and units take their pillows, so they don’t have any. Kudos to the nurse for rolling up a blanket for me to use, but it’s appalling the IH network cannot provide pillows for this ER’s patients in emergency situations. (2) TRAIN STAFF to better adminis... read more
So I usually love this hospital. But after being lied to by the case worker and she absolutely lied on my blue sheet. Me wanting to get help for my post partum. They promised I would be able to be sent to a unit. That I would be able to have visitation with my baby and only be there for 2 days. When I was the one seeking help in the first place. They forced me to stay longer. And was not able to see my child. All because the case worker deliberately lied on the blue sheet. Something that was voluntary turned into something t... read more

The pediatrician even called ahead to let the ER know our son was highly distressed and would need sedation. After waiting over 3.5 hours to be seen, Dr. Aaron Tjomsland finally came in and refused to sedate him—despite multiple requests from my wife and sister. He even told them sedation would cost “around $6,000,” which was irrelevant since we said cost wasn’t a concern. Inste... read more
The Emergency room has very little cases at midnight on a Wednesday. Yet the small skeleton staff are all in slow-motion. It's now 3am. All we have seen is a nurse. This is not Emergency care. The check in nurse told another patient they can go to another hospital or go home. What ?? Who monitors these employees ?? Zero effort in trying to expedite Emergency cases. One hundred percent effort in making excuses. Just look at the lame responses that are given on each one of the reviews. They want patients to complain again in a... read more
