I agree with the two reviews given, and would not give a star if didn't need too. As a GAL she does not do what needs to be done to protect the victims. She is a enabler and turns a blind eye, but will blame everyone so doesn't have to spend time on case. does not research or talk to anyone but jump to wrong opinion. Her priority is not spending time to help you if needed I agree she does not respond or act in a timely manner. Dont question her, she comes defensive, retaliates, would not recommend her to no one.
HORRIBLE GAL!!!! DO NOT USE HER!!!! She DOES NOT work for the kids!!! In fact, she allows abuse to go on and does not report it!!! My child has her as a GAL and is scared to death of his father and his abuse and Lewanna has swept it under the rug and allowed this abuse to go on. She DOES not tell the judge what my son tells her and SHE IS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!! She may seem like she is just a simple casual lawyer but in the courtroom you realize she really knows her stuff. I must admit I was not impressed at first in our meetings simply because I expected an uptight 3 piece suit lawyer. Absolutly not her! Any misgivings I had ended when we went to trial. I used her 12 years ago and am going back again without hesitation.
Can't get her on the phone, she forgets court appearances, she forgets files, she's slow on the return for paperwork, she works last minute & she double books herself. Ask other law firms about her, and they laughed- stating the same as what I'd written, I saw it first hand!
