They changed their fee structure about six months after establishing an attorney-client relationship. The new fee structure was advertised as "optional"; you could opt-in or remain with the old fee structure. However, when I didn't opt to pay the increased fees they dropped me (out of the blue, no warning).

David A. Standridge dropped every Veteran from his law firm. If you have a decision, there will be no appeal. Desiree stated he is done with Veterans, and will no longer support them.

Be very leery of this legal group. I went in for the initial consultation, signed some paperwork, and started getting calls that in order to get the attorney, David, to help I needed to submit monthly payments. Right from the get go they try to get you. Had my power of attorney removed, or so I thought, and 6 months later they are submitting paperwork "on my behalf" for compensation. If you are unaware of options out there go to 500 Gold and shop around. Services are completely free there.

The first time was 2010, he dropped me claiming the VA was taking to long and he was suspending his veteran practice due to the back log, based on the letter I received. I still went back in 2014, and decided I needed... read more

Talking with veterans that has had a relationship with Lawyers Helping Warriors has been overwhelming with gratitude and compassion. Not only have I referred Veterans to the Firm but have enlisted their assistance also with help against the Federal Government and The Department of Veterans Affairs. Their expertise in obtaining veterans their benefits i... read more
