They were helpful. I worked with Renee, the social worker in the beginning and then my daughter worked with Doneth Gayle, the lawyer. I had to come to the understanding that they work within the law. But my daughter took to Mrs. Gayle. It was a safe space with her. I know she felt like she had a voice when working with Gayle. I never knew what they talked about but my daughter always left with confidence. I believe she had my daughter best interests at heart. Thank You!
How do children's lawyers NOT Speak with both sides of cases and belive hearsay? To be fair a child's lawyer should speak with both sides because how would they know "what's in the best interest of any child if they dont"? When I was younger and in foster care I had meetings with a nice lady who helped me a lot with my case and getting back to my mom. I wish wasn't scarred of speaking up because she was very helpful with the little things I expressed, and I probably could of received more help. Great people + I remember the subway gift cards haha those were the best!!
