I am well aware that writing a review for your city’s trash dept. is uncommon, but uncommon customer service is what I experienced this week. They double and triple bill their customers and then blame faulty software for the issue. When pressed on how long it will take to resolve their billing issues, the manager doesn’t know. This is after waiting 2 months already. I paid my bill 2 mont ahead on my account, but they still bill me every month because of their gross incompetency.

Bulk trash has not yet been picked up. Keep calling Lawton solid waste contact numbers and the calls drop. ZERO stars.

I called the city of Lawton waste department on March 20, 2025 at 11:15 AM. I called due to trash truck not picking up my trashcan for the second time I called. I spoke to a lady named Erica. Highly unprofessional will not let me speak. She told me that I needed to go buy trash bags and take the trash out of my trashcan and sit the trash bags outside by the curb just for my trash to get picked up, asking to speak to a supervisor. Trashiest city I've ever lived in. You'd think they'd do their jobs, but they don't & never have a valid explanation. hmmm.
