My own experience with this practice was very good. I called in the morning to get an appointment for the same day. I told them I'll take anybody. I got an MD (not PA or NP) to see me at 1pm. As soon as I was there, I was immediately called by the nurse. Five minutes later, the doctor came. I had a minor procedure done. The nurse was very supportive and held my hands because it was painful. The doctor took time to explain everything before, during, and after the procedure. In hindsight I should’ve went to urgent care before trying Capital Health (I thought it was easiest as I was already a patient), but I went to the Hamilton obgyn office instead, where I saw Janet Budzynski, NP. I was already embarrassed coming in to see a medical professional. Upon being seen, I was instantly put under assumption of being a careless young woman in her 20s, I was crying and did not receive any comfort, just a prognosis and judgement. Front desk is the worst. They don’t answer the phone in a timely manner and then mess up your appointment when they finally answer. When you’re there in person, they’re generally rude and unhelpful. The midwives and doctors are overall professional and nice- that part of the experience here is good. That’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1.

I encountered a very rude and nasty staff member today when I called for assistance. Despite being a patient for over 22 years, I was informed that I need a referral and must re-register as a new patient. To make matters worse, I was told it would take 4 to 5 months to get an appointment. After two decades of loyalty, this is the service I receive.
