I went to L&M Pequot for bleeding post tonsillectomy. Thy diagnoses me as “trickling” blood. I sat there bleeding for 5 hours before they sent me to Backus. This was after they tried to discharge me while still bleeding and my husband refused to let me leave in that condition. When I arrived at Backus I was informed about how bad the situation really was. I wasn’t “trickling” I was hemorrhaging. I needed to have emergency surgery to keep from bleeding to death.
