I was referred to Dr. Specht from one of his colleagues Dr. Stephen Klinge regarding revision surgery on my left knee due to a infection. My husband and I had a lot of questions he seemed annoyed that we were asking so many questions one of our questions was how many revision surgery's have you done and what is your success rate his answer was what do you consider success, unacceptable, cocky, and very much sold on himself. Dr. Specht is great!!! I had a partial knee replacement done and I was up and walking the same day, walking up stairs at my house - The second day more and more , walking more stairs, started physical therapy and stretches - The scar is minimal and very thin- Riding a stationary bike on day 14 - Still have to continue physical therapy but headed in a great direction -Heather the PA treated me so kind, she made sure I had no unanswered questions- She checked in on me after surgery ! I am totally thrilled with my "new" knee courtesy of Dr. Specht! From pre-surgery consultations, surgery itself, and post-surgery care, Dr Specht answered every question thoroughly while also accurately describing every step of the procedure to me. My knee is better than I could have possibly hoped it to be! I will gladly recommend Dr. Specht to anyone who needs a total knee replacement. I have my other knee to replace in the spring and I wouldn't have any other doctor preform the surgery!
Very dismissive of my elderly father, did not make any effort above the very minimum required. So frustrating.
