He has served as my primary care physician for two decades or more. He addresses acute needs immediately and effectively. He also provides coaching for long-term health improvement strategies.
Dr. Lampton and the staff are wonderful. They make it easy to schedule appointments, go above and beyond to get you in when needed, and care about your health and making sure you remain in good health. Dr. Lampton is a pillar for the community. His children were raised in the community and he volunteers throughout. My entire family and most of my friends have been seeing Dr. Lampton for years. Just as I do, several people from out of town make the trip to see Dr. Lampton when needed.
I saw Dr. Lampton for the first time last week, and was very surprised at the amount of time he spent with me going over my breathing troubles. I have seen two other doctors in Columbia for the same problem and have never got anywhere. I suffer from COPD, and felt Dr. Lampton really took the time to listen to my concerns and started me on a new medication. It has only been a week after seeing him, and I can feel the difference. I see him again next month to follow up. Very nice office.
Would leave 0 stars if possible. Went in for an aviation physical, they couldn't complete because they forgot to tell me I needed glasses. I returned the next day after calling ahead and was told I could stop by. I was in the waiting room for 1 hour while the nurse was at lunch. Finally they told me for an unrelated reason they could not complete my physical, ruining my plans for flying for the next month. I will never return here
After calling around, trying to find an Asthma doctor, I came across Doctor Lampton's name. I called his office and was surprised as to how quickly they were able to schedule me. Another office wanted me to wait 3 months, and that wasn't possible. Dr. Lampton's staff was very nice, and answered any questions I had. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before I saw the doctor, and then the doctor spent nearly an hour with me, going over his treatment plan. I have never had such a humble doctor.
My insurance company asked them for several times to provide a statement of my medical exam, but they were not willing to...., I had to pay it with out of my pocket. Not happy with that!
His staff is very unprofessional. They don't listen nor care about your problems/conecerns. They are RUDE!! The receptionist literally cut me off while I was explaining my situation. They are not willing to work with you. When you are a new patient inquiring about their services, they should act more professional and "pretend" they care. Do not go there to waste your money.
