I was referred by my neurologist to see Dr. Maciolek, due to a bulged disc in my neck pressing on my spinal cord and was told that I need surgery soon (from neurologist). I made the appointment last week Thursday morning. I got a call from his rude nurse/assistant this morning. (I think her name was Joan) Stating that after looking at my scans, he won’t take my case. Dr. Maciolek performed a fusion of my c5, c6, c7. I had very little pain after surgery and healed well. I am so happy that I am able to exercise pain free. Dr. Maciolek is a good listener and addresed my concerns pre and post surgery. I highly recommend him.
This the second time I have to see a doctor at aspen and all I have to say about the doctors there is WOW! What a great place to go. The doctors there treat you like you are family. Even though you are going to have surgery they have a way of putting you at ease about why you are going to have surgery and what to expect after it is completed.
