Sometimes you need an ER, and Lawrence General is my favorite. I've been there by ambulance for a stroke, and I've driven myself there with an ulcer painful enough to make me faint, and with a kidney stone which ended in surgery on a Sunday. Sure, they often get slammed, and when that happens, wait times increase. They can only do what they can do.
