Some of the units are close to bus routes, and around downtown. Babcock Place, a senior age place has a wonderful garden in back with a separate place for smokers outside. It is walking distance down from a grocery store which has a pharmacy and there is an enclosed bus waiting area. One can actually walk up down Mass. Street from the building and see the parade route. I've been with the Housing Authority since I moved back to Lawrence in 2017. They have always been incredibly helpful during my moves, or any questions. When my current complex issued an eviction order against me, even though I let them know that the issue was on their end, they still proceeded. I immediately reached out to the Housing Authority and they quickly handled the issue. It left me feeling safe and that they do take care of their tenants.

Nyvonne can’t return calls when it’s in relation to her job, but can take it upon herself to call me back on the clock, from her work phone, to tell me about her personal feelings on the way I spoke to her, while I’m at work. Front desk lady also always says she’s at lunch .
