This man just retired right after he did a big major spinal cord decompression surgery on my neck which he was only supposed to do a verbal removal on c2 mode you .This doctor Bronx C1 and left me like that for the whole time I complained to him about me being in so much pain coming out of surgery. I am grateful this surgeon has retired. My experience with him after he performed two spinal surgeries on me was he may have been a good surgeon at one point, but I found his demeanor to be confrontational and some of his surgical staff to be inept. He never contacted anyone after my surgery and didn't come to my hospital room to check in on me until discharge day four days later knowing that he performed the second surgery due to complications from the first. Dr Dickinson is a great doctor with an excellant bedside manner and very caring, its too bad that he is retiring
I saw Dr. Dickinson because I was told he was best in the area. He sat with me to go over an extremity numbness issue from a back injury. His demeanor was really friendly and he was very informative going over the MRI imaging with a good amount of detail to really educate me of my issue. I can see why he has such a good reputation.
