Came in for an appointment he was just very rude didn’t listen to anything I had to say made me feel super uncomfortable and just kept putting me down whenever he asked me a question about something it was very upsetting and I just left in tears . Do not recommend
Stated that he was going to fit me in his busy schedule to really dive in detail regarding my situation. He did in fact call me to follow up and simply let me know that he was actually going to be booked for next 8 weeks. He was not going to have time to see me. I asked him if he knew anyone he trusted to recommend I reach out to. He answered by saying that that's why I had an insurance and then hung up.
The office was easy to find, even with all of the road construction going on in front of their building. Everything had been well rehearsed and I established myself with Dr Lawrence’s office almost immediately. I was whisked into a private office, with nary a wait to see the doctor. He was skilled in asking the right questions, and clever enough to know to cut me off on the long answers. All in all, it took some doing to find the ‘best’ doctor in Oakland, CA as I was visiting from Illinois, and it was worth the trouble.
Always great, no matter what you come in for. Dr Lawrence makes sure rest of your health is ok. He always manage to the same you call in without an appointment. Great listener.
Dr. Lawrence is the best doctor I have ever had. I found him on my provider's list and was expecting a routine experience. But he is nothing but. He is a life-force: patient, wise, energetic, direct, hilarious, humane, practical and philosophical. How many people have the wide-ranging empathy of a 70 year old with the sparkling verve of a 20 year old? I was in Japan without my medicine that I MUST take, and Dr. Lawrence and Danika his office assistant die everything they could to help me get my medicine. He even calmed me down and told me that he will take care of me, because I was panicking. Thank you Dr. Lawrence and Danika- you don't know how much I appreciated your caring and help.
