I met Dr Guarino when I was admitted to the hospital after being in the ER with some excruciating pain in my abdomen. The result: I needed to have emergency gallbladder removal surgery, not the best news to receive, specially when I was traveling abroad the next day for vacations. I found that this provider offered me sarcasm and jokes rather then medical information. Would not recommend.
He saved my mom's life more than once in the last 2 months! I love this guy. He reminds me of one of the family. He comes out and sits with you after the surgery and doesn't rush away. He was there to answer any of our (mostly my) questions and never seemed annoyed with me like other Drs seem to get. Great bedside manner! Thank you Dr. G. I definitely would want you if I ever needed emergency surgery!
