Lawn Referral Service is a good idea but poorly executed here. Super friendly, respectful telephone staff but poorly trained so they try hard to help but don't succeed - combined with little or no supervisor support to overcome issues. "We'll just come another day" seems to be their response to everything. Add in the contractor coming and demanding $250 to do the job they booked for $155 just smelled like a scam. Beware!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company hired an outside contractor to mow my mother’s lawn and he tried to get her to pay him directly instead of through the lawnstarter payment process. This was an obvious scam attempt to go around the company and steal her as a client. My mother contacted lawnstarter to resolve this. But then the lawnstarter contractor showed up at her house demanding payment and intimidating her. I had half a job done on the first tech visit. Then my job got handed to 3 different techs none of which showed up. I finally canceled. Worst service I've ever dealt with. Go somewhere else!!!
Uber like service. Company doesn't actually do lawn work.
