This firm is a complete sham. Not only is everyone that you speak to rude, they cannot give you any real informaition, because they do not have it. This is the second time they have sent me a certified email that said they were going to garnish my wages for an account from 2004.
No regard for financial hardships by people impacted by this pandemic. All they want is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. They lack proper communication skills on the phone; these reps lack empathy, and I think they are prepped by the management of what to say and reading on scripted answers. What a shame!
Overall BAD people. They capitalize on others hardships. Horrible communication, rarely answer the phone and when they do...RUDE. NO willingness to work on settling our child's medical bills.
TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. I WAS TOLD IF I NEEDED TO CHANGE MY PAYMENT AMOUNT OR HAVING ISSUES TO CALL AND THEY CAN LOOK INTO OTHER OPTIONS. BEEN CALLING AND EMAILING SINCE LAST PAYMENT, HAVING TO LEAVE A MESSAGE EVERY TIME WITH NO RESPONSE.. I RECEIVE ANOTHER LETTER STATING TO CONTACT THEM.. TRY AGAIN. NO ANSWER NO RETURN CALL. NOW THEY WANT TO SUE..
Very unprofessional, disrespectful and they do not do their jobs! Be aware of them they are not looking out for your best interest at all! In my case they were completely in the wrong and the woman was still unbelievably rude! I even said I have all the documents to prove you are wrong and she yelled at me then send it in so I can fix the problem! Very uncooperative. Does not answer telephone or return calls or emails. Plays hardball on Debt collections. Seems they are trying to intimidate you.
Don’t answer their phones during business hours. Lie that they made many return phone call. They made NONE. Then threaten you with not making payment and default. They are Scam artist who think they will get a bigger judgment by going to court and not have to go infront of judge. Should have never made agreement with the lowlife debt collectors and beat the liars in court.
Absolutely horrible and ill-mannered staff. They will not return phone calls and when someone can finally be reached, they are rude and unprofessional.
Weinberg's debt collectors are a bunch of liars. There is no telling who exactly is attempting to collect on bad debts. I've spoken to someone named John R*** and John J***who were in fact the same rep acting on one debt. I truly believe that the reps who are working in behalf of Weinberg are kept hungry by way of commission pay, and they will lie and deceive poor customers to earn an extra dollar for themselves and their predatory lawyers. SUE THEM FOR ILLEGAL COLLECTION PRACTICES.
