I hired this firm in March of 2010. I received a letter from my then-employer threatening to fire me due to an issue beyond my control. Long story short, I gave him $625 (retainer $500 and $125 for the consultation). During the meeting he stated that he would do everything he could to help me and keep me from losing my job. He also stated that he would keep in touch with me. The only anything I got from him was a copy of the letter that he sent suggesting an alternate action. I paid $125/30 min consult to a lawyer who was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive of my situation. When people reach out for help, when they feel powerless in their situation, it's not very professional to look down on somebody because they don't know the law and treat them like idiots. He seemed like I was bothering him or he had something better to do with his time.
