I hired Melynda to handle my divorce and custody of my child. At first I thought she was a great lawyer and was handling things properly. She had said she would allow me to pay a $750 retainer and it would be a total of $5000 that she would let me pay out. Melynda Pearson is a liar and a thief. I've contacted the STATE BAR ASSOCIATION on her. I paid her to do a job and represent me in my divorce/custody. She never filed any of my paperwork with the courts or responded to any. I found out I had a court date 2 weeks ago and my husband was granted what he wanted. Cause I didn't show up. Now I hired a new lawyer to file an appeal and start this whole stuff over.
