I trusted Attorney Conforti in a time when I was worried about the repercussions of a concerning situation I was in. I paid him $5,000 and did not receive a copy of the flat fee agreement or any supporting documents to confirm his representation. My case ended up solving itself and the DA never proceeded with the charges, but this was never relayed to me. I had to call the DA every few weeks or so to find out myself when I was represented.
